Pets and Animals

All week we studied about pets and other animals.  We discussed and wrote about this week's 'essential question' which was What Makes a Good Pet?  It was interesting to listen to the kids talk about how to care for pets.  One of the little girls in our class did a research project about the most popular pets in America and shared it with the class.  She taught us that the most popular pets are: dogs, cats, birds, fish and rabbits.  On Friday, we got to use our paints to paint our favorite pet or non-pet animal.  These kids are so creative.
