Partners of Ten

One of our Common Core goals this year is to be able to identify the numbers that partner to ten.  We teach the kids to 'look for the tens' and then count on.  It is a great strategy in addition.  We played some fun games.  One game that the kids loved was with playing cards.  They had to match the correct card to it's partner to equal ten.  Big fun, great learning!
