Odd Todd or Even Steven

We learned about the difference between odd numbers and even numbers.  The kids learned that in order to be even, items need to be able to be divided evenly, with no left overs or then the number would be odd. We learned a cheer. We learned about Odd Todd and Even Steven.  The kids built a personal pan pizza.  They shook two dice, added the numbers together, then added ingredients to their pizzas. If the number was odd, they would add an odd number of the given topping they needed. After they had built their pizza, they decided if they had added more odd ingredients or more even ingredients.  We were amazed at how many more Odd Todd pizzas there were.  So fun!
