We Are Getting in Shapes!

Miss Howell is teaching us about different shapes.  We've learned about the shapes in a Quadrilateral Family.  She taped 4-sides shapes on the floor.  We got to identify each shape.  We learned about parallelograms, rectangles, trapezoids, squares and rhombus. We each built a family of Quadrilaterals.

   Then Miss Howell taught us about measuring perimeters around shapes. Then they added the numbers together to get the p=_____.  We learned to measure using both centimeters and inches.  After we measured, we got to build a structure using the shapes.
