Good-Bye To Our Royal Welcome

We had a blast with the Royal Welcome to Second Grade.  As we finished the unit, each of the kids wrote about how they would act if they were 'real royalty'.  They loved writing about wearing fancy clothes and riding in limos or carriages and living in castles.   I was super impressed with how many of them said they would help poor people and take care of all of the people in their kingdoms.  One little boy even said he would make sure that all of the old people in his kingdom would have someone to help them walk across the street.  These kids have really good hearts!
