Even Steven or Odd Todd?

We did several projects this week reviewing odd and even numbers.  We started with unifix cubes to show which number could be divided evenly to figure out if they were odd or even.  Next, each child was given several numbers and they got to sort and classify them into the correct circle.  We learned that the number in the ones column tells whether a number is odd or even.  Last, we read the book Odd Todd or Even Steven. Then each a the kids chose which character they wanted to be and built a pizza but they could only use either an even number or an odd number of ingredients.   We also learned a cheer about odds and evens.  Super fun day, awesomely fun kids.
