Our Noun Town Communities

We have been learning about communities and how they work.  We talked about what communities need to be successful.  It was interesting to hear what the kids thought made communities work.  They put in roads, houses, hospitals, stores, bridges, signs, schools, parks, waterfalls, hotels, restaurants and even a temple.  We also learned about nouns and that they are people, places and things.  The kids made a plan to build their community and then realized that everything they need to put in their town was a noun.  They are going to write about their incredible communities. I think some of our kids could become engineers.
