Poetry and Farm Fun

The kids were split into five different groups and were assigned a farm animal we have studied.  They worked together to create a poem about their animal.  Then they presented the poems to the whole class.  We have some fun, talented poets in our class.
COWS
There once was a cow who always said "Now",
He really liked to take a bow.
The other cows would say, "No Cow, not now!"

SHEEP
There was a sheep, who had a jeep
but he was cheap
so his jeep wouldn't beep.
He had to sleep in his quiet jeep!

Horse
We know a horse who ran on a course
but, he got a divorce
so he was sad of course!

DUCK
The duck got stuck
in his great big truck.
He was stuck in the muck
but he was saved by a buck.

PIGS
There was a pig
who wore a wig.
He stepped on a twig
and loved to eat figs.
He was one crazy pig!
