One of our Reading Stories this year is called Ants. It is a non-fiction story about the lives of ants and how they work together and how they live. It was fascinating. Each of the kids made their own ant hill tri-a-rama. They also made an ant out of clay. They were able to identify the legs, antennae, head, abdomen and thorax.
