Carousels

One of the books we read this year was called Carousel.  It was awesome.  We designed and made our own Carousels.  They really turned out great.  We have really talented kids.

Lucky Leprechaun Day

First, we did some fun St. Patrick's Day Math.  Next, we learned that St. Patrick was a real man who was kidnapped and then sold into slavery, escaped and became a religious man and taught people to be kind.   Then, we went on a Leprechaun Hunt and found some gold treasure in our desks but we had to clean out our desks first in order to find it.  It was truly 'buried treasure'.  Last, we made adorable hats.  We have some super lucky, adorable little Leprechauns in our class!

"A Person's A Person No Matter How Small!"

Dr. Seuss Day Fun

Books and Bagels - Thank you parents and grandparents for coming to school to read to your kids and eat delicious bagels. We had such a fun day reading Dr. Seuss books and learning about his amazing characters. We ate Green Eggs and Ham and we decorated our door for the Jefferson Elementary Door Decorating contest.  Our theme was: A person's a person no matter how small!
