About Miss Melanie

Miss Melanie Parrish Anderson has been teaching for 22 years. She spent seven years in Kindergarten and the past 15 years in Second Grade. She was born and raised in Pocatello. She attended Chubbuck Elementary, Hawthorne Jr. High School and Highland High School. She graduated for Idaho State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Early Childhood Education. She loves being a teacher and adores her students. Miss Melanie has six grandchildren and ten bonus grand kids. She feels very lucky. She is married to Kevin and loves her life. She is very excited to meet her new students.
